Hampshire Caledonian Pipe Band is looking to boost our competition ranks for 2027 – and we’re looking for experienced pipers and drummers who want to get stuck in, take on a new challenge and be part of the journey.
Under the leadership of Pipe Major Rich Smith and Leading Drummer Tom Trimbee, we’re building on the progress made last season as we look ahead to 2027.
Based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, our competition band currently competes in Grade 4B, with regular practice every Tuesday.
Traveling members? We’ve got you covered.
We know that not everyone can make a weekly practice, so we’re introducing a monthly weekend practice specifically to help bring our traveling members together.
It’s an opportunity to get some focused practice in, work as a band and keep everyone moving in the same direction – wherever you’re traveling from.
Our first weekend practice will be Saturday 10th October, at Trafalgar School.
Whether you’re looking for a fresh challenge or simply want to get back into competition, we’d love to hear from you.
So, if you’ve been thinking about it…
This is your sign.
