Hampshire Caledonian Pipe Band were incredibly fortunate to welcome three fantastic musicians for our winter workshop – and what a session it was! Our winter workshop saw us joined by Callum Douglas (Red Hot Chilli Piper), Cam Lawson (Inveraray & District Pipe Band) and Mark Johnston, (formerly of Grampian Police Pipe Band).
It was a fantastic opportunity for our members to learn, develop and pick up some new ideas from musicians with such a wealth of experience at the highest levels of pipe band music. We gained so much from their expertise, insight and input.
A huge thank you to Callum, Cam and Mark for giving up their time and sharing their knowledge with us. We thoroughly enjoyed it – and we’re sure we’ll be putting plenty of what we learned into practice!
